Product Introduction
Type A Flexible Joint Cast Iron Soil Pipes and Fittings
Type A flexible joint cast iron soil pipes and fittings series are manufactured in accordance with the Chinese National Standard GB/T 12772-2016 "Flexible Joint Cast Iron Pipes, Fittings and Accessories for Drainage". The single-hub pipes and fittings utilize a connection method involving a flange gland, a sealing gasket, and fastening bolts. They offer excellent sealing performance, strong impact resistance, superior seismic performance, quick installation, easy maintenance, and reliable operation.

Installation Method for Type A Flexible Joint Cast Iron Soil Pipes and Fittings
First, cut the straight pipe to the required length. Ensure the cut end is perpendicular to the pipe axis, with a smooth, even surface free of burrs to prevent damage to the rubber sealing gasket.

Mark an insertion depth line on the spigot end of the pipe or fitting. This line should be perpendicular to the axis. Leave approximately a 5mm gap between the spigot end and the bottom of the socket (hub) after insertion.

Slide the flange gland and then the rubber sealing gasket onto the spigot end of the pipe or fitting. Align the top edge of the gasket with the marked insertion depth line on the spigot.

Insert the spigot end into the socket (hub). Ensure the rubber gasket is seated at a uniform depth inside the socket. Pay special attention that the direction of the spigot corresponds to the direction of water flow.

Insert the bolts from the top down. When tightening, follow a cross-pattern sequence. Tighten each bolt gradually and evenly in several passes to ensure uniform compression on the rubber sealing gasket.
